The Rising Sun serves classic pub fare, crafted with care from premium local and regional produce. As a historic country pub, and recognised among the best pubs in the Clare Valley, we offer a relaxed setting, genuine hospitality and hearty, well-made meals.

From schnitzels, steaks and fish and chips to hearty pies and a traditional Sunday roast, the menu focuses on well-executed pub classics and regional flavours. Our menu highlights South Australian produce, supported by an extensive Clare Valley wine list, along with a wide range of beers and classic cocktails. The Rising Sun is a place for relaxed dining and drinks in the heart of Auburn.

VISITING THE RISING SUN

We are currently refreshing the rear of the pub, including the dining room and accommodation rooms.

The pub remains open for lunch and dinner, with the front bar, bar dining room, verandah and beer garden all operating as usual, serving classic pub fare.

All areas are walk-in only during this period, and there is no need to make a booking.

Book a Table

We offer online reservations for tables in our Bar Dining Room, Hallway and Private Dining Room. These spaces are ideal for guests seeking a more intimate or sit-down dining experience.

If you don’t see availability online, we welcome you to drop by, as our Front Bar, Verandah and Beer Garden are casual areas available for walk-in guests only.

Planning a group visit? For groups of up to 10, all available bookings can be made online.
