The Rising Sun serves classic pub fare, crafted with care from premium local and regional produce. As a historic country pub, and recognised among the best pubs in the Clare Valley, we offer a relaxed setting, genuine hospitality and hearty, well-made meals.

From schnitzels, steaks and fish and chips to hearty pies and a traditional Sunday roast, the menu focuses on well-executed pub classics and regional flavours. Our menu highlights South Australian produce, supported by an extensive Clare Valley wine list, along with a wide range of beers and classic cocktails. The Rising Sun is a place for relaxed dining and drinks in the heart of Auburn.

Dining at The Rising Sun

Our Front Bar, Verandah and Front Garden are walk-in only. It’s first come, first served, with our pub menu available throughout and ordering at the bar. Just turn up, find a spot, and enjoy.

For those who prefer to plan ahead, we offer online bookings for a limited number of tables in our Bar Dining Room. A quieter, seated space just off the Front Bar, with the same menu and relaxed service style.
