Footy tipping is back at The Rising Sun for the 2026 AFL season.
Join us in the front bar each Thursday from 4pm to submit your tips in person before the first bounce. Hosted by BP, the competition is free to enter and open to everyone, whether you follow every game or are just in it for the fun.
To join, speak with our team in the pub to receive the code and register via the official AFL app. Once registered, return each Thursday from 4pm to lodge your tips in person, enjoy Happy Hour pricing from 4pm to 6pm while you submit your tips, then settle in for a drink, dinner, and the game.
Places are limited to 50, with all tips tracked on the Rising Sun board throughout the season.

Most Regular In-Venue Tipper
$50 Rising Sun Hotel voucher awarded to the tipper who submits their tips in person at the pub most consistently across the season.
How It Works
• Entry is free
• Registration must be completed via the AFL app using the code provided in venue
• Tips must be submitted in person at The Rising Sun before the first bounce of each round
• Happy Hour pricing is available Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm
• Competition places are limited to 50 participants
